| Tennessee Slated to Gain Jobs from Increasing Wind Capacity and Manufacturing Jobs |
This DOE 20% Wind Vision report is just that, a vision. It is up to each state government agency, each state utility, and businesses in each state to take full advantage of the information presented. As the federal government and wind industry prepares to move forward with this initiative, the role that each state plays will depend on the state's willingness to engage the industry. This 20% vision is not a roadmap, rather, a snapshot of how the future of wind energy may affect each state. It is made on some logical assumptions, however, it is understood that these assumptions will change based on the priorities in each state.
